Toadstool retracting throughout the day?

My toadstool has been retracting and coming out throughout the day like every hour or so, is this normal? Is there something wrong with it? This is my first coral btw. Also should I keep both the white and blue light on or just the blue light? I dont think it likes the blue light directly bc it closes up completely. One pic was the coral earlier today and the other is the coral now.. its just all shriveled up now??

The tank is about 5 weeks old! Its a baby!

I’ve noticed my leathers like a little “dirtier” water but just give it some time and should be all good!

Probably lack of flow as they required moderate steady flow and light. Blow gentle bursts over the top with a turkey baster to loosen the film on their cap.

Don't worry. It's probably shedding. I've seen mine turn white/grayish, shrivel and come back bigger. Just relax, keep things stable, keep taking care of the tank. Leathers are indestructible.

sometimes CUC will come by and clean it too!
