Toadstool

leathers can't be glued. I would delicately wedge in a rock crevice. The big question is why did it detach .

Toadstool corals slime like crazy and are almost impossible to glue onto anything.

The foot will attach given time. Try searching for "leather frags" or something like that and there are several different ways to get a leather to stay in place while the foot attaches.

I simply place them in a crevice and let them refoot themselves in that location.

I was told to rubberband mine to a rock/plug etc. It worked well.
You can stitch, rubber band them or place them in a crevice. They will simply shed the glue or slime up and don't take the glue .

By the way welcome to reef2reef

Yes rubberband works but do it loosely as Not to squeezed the tissue at base
