Is there any way you can post pictures of the specific coral the overall view is just too vast for such a specific question.
So for awhile now my toadstools are not polyping for some reason, I have 4 of them, 3 ones that are 9”-12” big and one that’s 4” or so. I have 3 kessil ap700 over the tank is it possible they are getting to much light?![]()

*sigh* I know he’s getting big, it’s hard to say you get attached to a fish but he has so much personality, once I get the new tank I’ll be able to hold on to him a little bit longer I think.Beautiful tank! My toadstools will close up if there is sand or anything on top. I would get a turkey basted and make sure there is nothing on it. Also i know this isn’t what you asked but that unicorn tang looks to be very big for your tank size. If it seems stressed it may be a good idea to rehome him.

So we got our unicorn at about 12” from the lfs, we are one of the only ones in the area with a tank big enough for him, the lfs got him in from a 50 gallon tank I think which was rediculous.I completely know what you mean. My tank is just a 90G and I have a blue tang as well as a few other fish I rescued from a much smaller tank a few months ago and I love its personality so much. Not looking forward to the day I’ll have to find her a new home since I know I won’t be able to upgrade to a proper sized tank until after I go to and finish college at the very least.
Back on the toadstool topic... this is what they typically look like, as I said before they all had very long polyps at the store but as soon as they went into our tank they closed right up and very rarely open.
