Today I swung by my LFS, I saw a few new corals but was a little disappointed by frags wasting away.
A month ago I bought a Trachphyllia but left another behind, today mine is doing really well and its sister is dying.
I told the young lady that her boss needed to check the water parameters because they are losing way too many pieces.
She asked me how my Trachphyllia was doing and I showed her a picture and then she said, here take this one free and try to save it. I told her I wasn't sure it could be saved, but that I'd try.
Then she gave me a break on a piece which is sweet looking.
Any help with the Id is appreciated.

Looks like turbinaria coral to me.

I thought tubrinaria, many years ago I had a yellow one from Tonga.
