Todd’s Torch won’t extend fully

Hello, I’m looking for some tips as to why my todd’s torch won’t open i have about 14 different torches in my tank and have been in the hobby for about 4 years. never had trouble until i got this dude about a year ago. he grows and spilts perfectly fine but for the life of my i cannot get him to open long. all of my torches are fully extended except for him i’ve tried many different flow patterns. in the picture below he’s the 2 headed torch in the middle

Have you tried a dip? Possible it has flat worms.. my dragon soul did that and everyone else was happy.. dipped and found some huge Eefw! Ugh..
