Toddler knocked over all my corals

So I am at work and I just got a picture of all my corals knocked over and piled up into a single stack. My hammer coral had 2 if its heads buried under sand and was laying directly on too of all of my zoas. My question is will the hammer die from being burried and will the zoas die from stings. The corals were like this for a mere 2 minutes nothing more. Everything in the tank is closed of course due to being messed with.

IME, it takes more than a couple of minutes for them to kill each other. Besides, if they were all messed with then they all likely had their stingers and polyps retracted. The hammer may take a few days but it should be fine.

But you definitely want to get them back into some good flow.

I coordinated over the phone how to place the corals back but I'll have to tweak it later. This is the current sad state

Your toddler's aspiration to become a gifted aquascaper is admirable, but maybe s/he should have his/her own tank for such work.

I did rather enjoy another story of the nephews who took turns peeing in the sump.

The hammer you had said had 2 heads buried, is that the top left, if so then it looks a little stressed, but seems to be recovering nicely.

My hammer was pushed off it's perch and took a head first dive into sand for a day...snail. It was fine and dandy by nightfall.

That one actually didnt get knocked I think its mad cause my finces arm brushed it a few times while fixing it
It was the hammer on the bottom

I plan a 20g glo fish tank for her bedroom haha

May be a good time to reconstruct your land scape and get a tube of coral putty to lock the rock structure together and even drill holes for plugs before reconstructing

Yeah that might be a thing I'll do at some point. Luckilly she only knocked down 1 glued coral. The others are loose

My goby constantly buries my corals, hammer included, sometimes for hours at a time if no one is home. But all have been fine in a couple hours or couple days depending.

This sounds like the perfect opportunity to say to your fiance that you feel the toddler should have this tank and you can upgrade to a bigger tank, LOL!!! ;Hilarious

Haha for real! I actually prefer nanos for some reason. Went from a 50g to a 20g a 14g and a 15g. However I am looking for an excuse to get a new 25g tank
