Todd's 180 Gallon Reef Build

Random Plumbing pics. I also feed my carbon reactor and UV with my main pump. I just installed a couple tee's for reactors. One I am using for carbon and the other just dumps back into the sump. Its just there in case I add something else in the future. I am currently running my main pump under 50% so I have plenty if flow still available.

Thanks MMW64 If you were closer I would have been happy to help ya out. I think the fact I put a lot of thought into it before I started helped me get things the way they are. I wanted it to look good and had to figure out how I could do that. I planned some ahead and some as I was in the build. Even being a tall guy when I started the build I could fit in the cabinet on the side and now there is too many things in there for me to get in there so its tough now when I decide to add something and have to run a new cord.

Under my steps is where I keep my water system and mixing station. Its not as organized because no one ever sees it but I have 30 gallon water storage tank arriving tomorrow so I will be back here doing some work and will straighten it up. I have a 35 gallon container that I keep my RO/DI water in and I use a Mag 12 to pump it to my ATO container as well as mix salt and pump fresh saltwater for water changes. I placed a ALD here as well just in case of a leak and I also installed a RO auto shutoff system. My RO/DI system is a SpectraPure and I use a Sediment filter backed by 2 BRS Universal Carbon blocks a 90 GPD membrane and 2 DI cartridges. When the time comes to change the membrane I may just piggy back with a 2nd 90 GPD membrane. When the other 30 gallon container gets here I will be making some changes here and will show everyone what I have done. I got the 2nd so I can always have Fresh and Salt water on hand at all times. I could also use it to my advantage to keep a constant salinity in the tank with a PM2 and conductivity meter but with 200 gallons of water I really dont have any fluctuation in my salinity.

Thank you ZJedi945!! I work with it a lot at work. You can get them from Amazon actually. Just look up Panduit or click on the link and you will find them or a different brand of them. They make everything look nice and neat and you can pull the covers to add wires and then replace the cover. They are not cheap but well worth it and make a great finished look. So much better than cable ties or loom.

Feed button for my daughter to use when I am away so she can feed the fish. I have it set to be pushed for 10 seconds before it will shut things down and then it shuts the system down besides the Gyre 150 for 8 minutes to let everyone eat and the skimmer turns back on 11 minutes later so the sump level can get back to normal.

Corals and such. 90% of my system is Chalice's I have some mushrooms, frogspawns, hammers, Favia's, and a couple Zoa's also. I also have 2 Rainbow Anemone's in there and just added some Tangs 2 weeks ago. I still have a Powder Blue Tang and Purple Tang in quarantine that will be added in a week or two and I have my fingers crossed and pray that all goes well and there is no fighting between the tangs. I still have my Firefish and also have a bunch of different clowns that I put in at the same time and just added a pair of Citron Gobies and Mandarins. I dose tons of pods and feed mostly all frozen food.
