I picked up this tomato clown last week from an LFS. The LFS had a quarantine tank for fish with Ich. So there were some infected fish in the store but not in the tank they pulled the tomato from. No signs of disease on the tomato at the time of pickup.

However, today there on noticeable wire blotches or marks around the tomato’s mouth area and right eye.

We’re heading on vacation for 3 weeks on Sunday, so I’m not sure what to do. Please advise. Thanks!

Is the picture of it in the anemone from the store or in your tank? Is it possible they're sting marks from it trying to be hosted by your nem?

Thanks for your reply, Crabs. Both pics are from my tanks. Both were taken today. Maybe that’s what the white marks are! That would be good news. I’ve never seen sting marks before. The tomato goes back and forth between two btas, and they’re probably the first nems he’s ever seen. Thanks!

Is that a likely explanation tho? I thought clowns were immune and protected against nem stings
