If does look like lymphocystis
the weird thing is that the dotty back doesn’t have anything , she came from the same place ( ORA ) and went thru quarantine with themcould be lymphocystis or if you have dinos it could be stings
If it is lymphocystis - it will go away on its own - with good water conditions, stable conditions and good foodShould I do fresh water dip and put in main tank? Would this cause any risks to the main tank?
BTW - maybe contact ORA - and ask them.Should I do fresh water dip and put in main tank? Would this cause any risks to the main tank?
I quarantined two captive bred tomato clowns from ORA . 30 days CP followed by 7 days of API
Also API in food, moved them to observation tank and is now 4 weeks in obv tank and noticed white stuff on the bodies!!! Posted a video PLEASE HELP
Thx Jay I also don’t understand why the orchid dotty is clear from this, however they all are eating great, this just spring up this weekI'm not so sure this is Lymphocystis - clowns don't get it this bad, and it looks smoother than Lympho usually does. Also, the clowns are swimming a bit stiff bodied and are breathing hard (that might be because they are afraid of you filming them?).
How long did this take to develop?
Did you get them directly from ORA? If so, definitely ask them if they've seen this.
Jay
I don’t recall ever seeing a dottyback get lympho - some fish do and some don’t, it is really common in royal gramma for example.Thx Jay I also don’t understand why the orchid dotty is clear from this, however they all are eating great, this just spring up this week
