I've had this tomini for about two weeks now and he's been eating well, mixed diet of LRS, NLS, and algae pellets (hasn't figured Nori out yet). I started noticing him visiting the cleaner shrimp a bit more and when I looked closer his mouth seemed to have white bumps on it. Attached a few pictures that I was able to get, I apologize as they are phone pictures and not ideal. Any ideas? Haven't seen any change in breathing, "itching", he's routinely grazing the rocks and glass. Third picture down is a snail on the glass, not a spot on his body :) Thank you for any input

I can't see anything in the pictures. Were the white bumps always there or did they show up in the last 24 hours?

I didn't really notice it until today when I spent more time watching the tank. Tried to get better photos, it's right on the edge of his lips. They aren't very noticeable but when I googled tomini mouths they looked different. He visits the cleaner shrimp a few times a day and I'm wondering if that maybe caused some irritation?

Fortunately no, I saw that ghastly photo when I did a search though and based on when you've posted that I am grateful mine doesn't look that way! This is right on the outer edge, if the tang were a human I would call it a pimple. No other spots to be seen on his body or fins, breathing is easy, always taking food when offered, grazing rocks, etc. It may just be the coloration of his mouth or maybe the shrimp got a little crazy with him?

Could be damage or possibly Lympho.

I saw a Tomini today with the same looking mouth infection as my pic, so I'm wondering what's up with that. o_O

Yeah, I am hoping it is minor, will keep watching it. Will report back if anything changes, thanks again @Humblefish and @melypr1985

I'll keep doing that, feeding a broad diet right now and his appetite is very strong so I'm hopeful! He might just have a special face ;)

Hopefully this is a little better, will try again when the lights are more white. When looking at his face it's the whitish spot on the left, tried to zoom and crop a little to make it easier.
