Tomini Tang

Thanks! Yes would be only tang. Other inhabitants would be:
Starry Blenny
Tailspot Blenny
2 Mai Thai Clowns
Blue Chromi
2 Bangaii Cardinals
Yellow Corris Wrasse

The blennies could be a problem. I’ve heard, don’t quote me, but some tangs become aggressive to them.

That is something I was worried about, with them all being grazers. That being said the tailspot and starry ignore any nori I add to the tank, so hopefully keeping a steady supplier for the tomini would distract him enough.

Also I hope to get a small tomini to start with and my dang starry is a hoss...

Some say fish don't have enough brains to calculate many things and another myth that they have 5 second memory.
I find fish to be more intelligent.
I have noticed they know when they about to be fed. They know where the food is going to be dropped in tank etc

5 seconds. Ya, I also agree that’s silly. They know when we feed so they remember from a day ago at least.

My yellow tang is a as$ so he remembers to be as as$ lol

I have a front right corner Tomini. I've only seen him do it once, but I always notice a pile of "detritus" there.

I had to get rid of my Tomini after a out 6 months it decided that it didn't like my Helfinchi and every time the Helfinchi came out from under its rock the Tomini would harass it till it went back under its rock sadly I lost the Helfinchi before I could remove the Tomini.

Bummer..

Soo, not a Tomini tang, but my Chocolate tang has pooped directly into the overflow in two different tanks. I first noticed it when it was in an Elos tank that has intake for the overflow down low in the tank. The chocolate would pull right up to the grate and use it as a toilet, brilliant. I thought it was a fluke, but when I moved it to it's permanent tank, after awhile I noticed it do the same thing right next to the overflow box. Animals never fail to surprise!

I wondered why there is always a collection of detritus in my L front corner. I noticed my Tomini let loose there yesterday but I didn't connect the two. Now I'm going to have to watch LOL!

Mine is in a standard 75 gal, I've never had any issues. He uses the entire 4 feet of swimming room all day long and I definitely wouldn't go smaller. A 93 gal cube is shorter, less swimming space. It could be tough, especially if your rockwork cuts down the swimming room even more.
