EDIT - title should say “tiny snail”. Not sure how to edit the title.

Anyone know what kinda snail this is? It randomly popped up in my sump. I have trochus and cerith in my DT.

Ok have a better angle now. I’m thinking this is a baby trochus? Thoughts?

Collonista snail on the first pic, looks just like mine. The second pic doesnt look like the first snail and it looks to have zebra colored pattern in the pic, if you take it out and get a clearer picture from the side and good lighting maybe can identify.

Thanks. When I find it again I’ll take a look. I’m leaning towards Trochus because I have them, but that zebra pattern is pretty obvious too. I’m just puzzled how it got in the sump and past the 200 micron fleece in place.

Really hoping it’s not Collonista - those suckers multiply quick and get stuck in all the equipment.
