Lost the Banggai just now. No clue why. Parameters are good, all other fish and coral are good. I don't think he ever ate.

Banggai are fincky eaters, mine only eats frozen food.... wont touch the pellets

He wouldn't even touch the Reef Frenzy frozen food or Cyclop-eeze, or flake food. Spit everything out. He was cool. I think I'll just stick with the 5 I have now.

Sorry to hear about your loss ... it does suck losing one especially when you tried so hard with all the variety of foods. Was it captive bred or wild caught I wonder?

I wish I knew. Got it from the critter. Probably wild caught since it wouldn't take the reef frenzy. That stuff is awesome. Doesn't smell the best though. Not rotten smelling just really fishy. Everything else loves it.

Sorry to hear about your loss. Hopefully it's just the one that you lose and not more though. Gotta try and look at the bright side when these things happen. Keep your head up!

Thanks Ryan, I only had him for 6 days. He had no signs of disease or stress so I'm thinking he just didn't eat.

I see. Always best to make sure the fish are eating before purchasing. Not quite sure where you bought it from but I will not buy a fish that will not eat in the store.

The critter. It's not their fault though. If I had more time I would've made a couple trips over there to observe him. CMA week and I'm a chauffeur.

Next time you get ready to buy a fish from the critter, just ask them to feed them for you. I do it every time I get a fish. No matter where I get it from. They don't mind doing that at the critter.

Great advice! I'll definitely remember to have them do that next time.

My par results were way way lower than they should've been. The critter used the same par meter I used from the club on the red sea max in the store and got about 400 les par than they got with a different meter a few months ago.
On a good note I got a new frag of Hydnophora today from thereeferdude and its awesome! Thanks Kyle!

Well I added a 1200gph hydor PH and its way to much for my 35gal tank. Came home to several frags blown over and my sand blown into dunes.

No problem Tony! It was great meeting you. Thanks for handing off the PAR meter so quick. I hate that you lost a fish this week, and hope the coral softens the blow a bit.

Your very welcome Kyle. It does soften the blow, thanks again. It's really showing off the lime green now. Looks awesome.

I woke up this morning to a completely bleached out yellow acro. No clue parameters are all in the safe range.

Duncan has been closed up for 3 days now. Unusual behavior.
