Too close?????

Hey guys, in your opinion do you think my Duncan coral is too close to the hammers ?

the bases are about 4 inches apart.

yes, don't put the duncan near the hammers. the sweepers will get him

Yes, move them further apart.sweepers can easily reach the Duncan.

One more question my hammer coral is getting close to the glass, will this be an issue for me when I have to clean the glass?

Think you know the answer. You won’t be able to get to that section with your scraper or magnet. I’d move him so you have clearance to the glass.

Ok so I moved them both over. And the hammer coral bases are about an inch away now as suppose to 2 inches. Will the bases being this close creat a problem?

If you want to keep the glass clean, you got to be able to get your magnet through there without ever touching that hammer.....
Make sure you have clearance for all areas of glass.
Hammers and that whole “E” group damage very easily.

To each other, no. Is the rock they are on close to the glass? It looks it in the pic.
