Too cramped or just right?

This is easier said than done, especially predicting everything you'll eventually want but...
If you can guess at the corals you'll likely want to end up with, try to figure out where you'd mount them and make sure you have spots that'll work.

I didn't do that and ended up tearing down, breaking up, and scattering one of my rock piles after months of being in the tank. Worked out but doing all that later (in the tank) is less than ideal.

P.S. I definitely like the rework better than first try. Good job...

I like the arch.

There is so much discussion regarding what is too little or too much live rock. Just do what looks good to you. First and foremost, you need to enjoy your tank esthetically. If you don't, you will be less likely to care for it. The rest will come naturally, even if you need to remove a rock or two eventually.

So i looked at some of those negative aquascapes and realised i could do better than what i had done. I ended up pulling out the rocks breaking them up, and know i have come up with this little piece. What do you guys thing?

Love it!

Holy COW that was fast. I am taking all the credit for this as I was the first to make recommendation (childish, I know. :p). That looks stunning. Lets see it in the tank!!
Just put it in the tank now! now i need to let the sand settle so it can actually be seen on pictures :grinning-face-with-sweat:

Could also go with a slope of rocks to make a mini reef slope with an open sand area.

But it's your tank. Do you like how it looks? Does it offer habitat for livestock? Those are the two most important things.

I'm not sure how such a slope looks, do you have any pictures?

So here it is in the tank, i'm really digging the arch, might tweak some of the spiky rocks a little later down the line. But for now i'm gonna leave it alone so it can cycle. I left it sitting overnight to clear up, but theres still some milkyness in the water, i'm guessing its because the cycle is just starting.

Take a look at my build thread if you want to see another way to set up live rock - a tank that is stuffed with rock with no thought about aquascaping. It makes it difficult sometimes since fish hide more and I can't clean some parts of the glass, but I think it has its own charm.

Your tank looks beautiful! tho i'm not certain it's a good fit for a small tank like mine, it very easily starts to look cluttered.

it looks great, especially for just 2 clowns. They do not need much swimming space.
