Hi i was at a local reefers house yesterday to get some frags from him. And after getting what i was looking for he asked if i wanted to take a candy cane coral that was after loosing some heads for free so i did. Just wondering is it too late to save. I dipped everything in coral rx so i think any pests should be gone even tho nothing fell off.
Thanks in advance

Looks ok to me. Give it some love and it will proboly come back strong. Still glowing which means it hasn't expelled its zoo. I had a Duncan disappear under the sand for a solid month, there was barely a sliver of yellow on the inside when I found it. I gave it time and love and its growing and happy again. Corals are amazingly resilient if given proper care

Given the right conditions it should bounce back, I rescued one that looked similar a few weeks ago and it is now recovering nicely.

I had one break off at the stalk and got lost inbetween rocks for months it was down to the white skeleton with a little green showing after gluing it to a plug placed it half way up the tank on a frag rack and target fed at night 2 times a week with reef roids nano it came back bigger and greener then it was before

Sounds good thanks guys. What do you think was the reason some of the heads died back?
