Hi everyone. I am really confused with all the bubbles in my tank. Is it normal to have this many of them. I have them under the sand bed and on the rocks, I see them float up to the surface all the time but they keep getting replaced with new ones and they are all on the right side of the tank where the sand bed id a little deeper. Here's a couple of pictures.

Here you can see the bubbles on a rock

And here they are on another rock

Should I be scared?

Is this a FW tank? Looks like catfish to me.

I get bubbles similar when I don't pay attention when changing the water, they will go away.

Also if that isn't freshwater we need an FTS because that looks like 2 sharks or cat fish!

There are way too many bubbles to be due to a water change, they are constantly rising to the top at a rate of at least one per second 24/7.

Here's a pic of one of them swimming right in front of our blue mushroom corals.

And another one of him swimming next to Oscar our common cleaner wrasse.

It seems to me that the algae is producing gas which is forming the bubbles.

That would explain the bubbles on the rocks but what about the ones in the sand bed?
