So my tank has tones of copepods like everywhere.
I noticed 2 weeks ago i had so many swimming i guess a big population boom
But now they are everywhere and veey visable sometimes.
Id show a photo but they are pretty small.
Just wondering if i should control them with a manadarin which i have wanted

Best i can get
But they are clear specks
Some bigger and thats when i could tell they were pods
But i see them everywhere and probs 1000s

Ive never heard of too many pods being a bad thing. About the mandarin how big and how old is the tank
My tank is 10 months old and a 30g with 45g of water in total

I think you're just dealing with a copepod bloom. They're great while they last, but it will ramp down in time to a more manageable level. Give it a month, and if they're still going at it, then ask again.

In a tank of that size, I'd still run a refugium and supplement with pod cultures as well as a baby brine shrimp feeder.
