too many crabs?

Can you have too many crabs? 75g tank 30g sump 10g refugee. 50 blue legs 4 emrald 6 scarlet in main tank.10blues in refuge and 40 in sump. Is that too many? Havent put them all in tank yet but I have them on the way. Some are in already though.

Yup sure can. They will starve out and kill each other. I only have like 10 Turbo Snails in a 240g tank. No hermits, as they will kill when they get hungry and there is no food available.

it all depends, i have a 29 gallon hqi but i feed a lot because of my inhabitants and their have been no casualties to my snails or other crabs (no empty shells laying around) it all depends on your tank keeping habits. if you dont feed frequently you'll slowly lose some of the hermits to cannibalism.
