Too Many Fish?

Hey guys! I have another question, I finally got my clownfish to eat again, but now I am concerned that I have too many fish in my 55 gallon tank. So far I have 2 Cardinal fish, 2 Percula Clowns, a Yellow Tang, a Firefish, a 6 Striped Blenny, a Green Clown Goby, and 1 Royal Gramma. Is this too much?? I have 55 pounds of live rock, about a 3" sand bed, and a protein skimmer that does 300 gph.

Add some MarinePure ceramic balls or block to your sump. Added bacteria colonization will assist with a heavy bioload and tons of skimming.

I think you are probably right on the edge of what your tank should have, the ceramic ball/block is a good idea. You need as much filtering and skimming as you can manage.

You should be good. You'd be golden if the tang were out of there (he'll outgrow it but it will probably take awhile).

Thanks for your replies guys! Yea I figured the tang will outgrow it, but my partner just had to have one. LOL. I really want to trade it in for a few smaller fish, but idk if that would do anything to the bioload capacity
