Too many fish?

The OP's eel is a snowflake, one of the smaller eels available and can be comfortably housed in a 50g full grown. And the OP's puffer is a blue spotted puffer that tops out at at 5", I don't see the space being taken up too badly

he has a foot long eel. however i must have read wrong that he doesnt have 3 puffers but just one.

was my poor reading and assumption that puffers go in trios that led to that error.

knowing this... id add 2 more lol. they are fun as heck when you get them as a pod group. (if they are similar as the gsp) - still pushing the limits

Eel is almost 12", but is still pretty small around.

I thought about getting two more blue spotted puffers.

puffers are so social. if you can get them to be a pod. they are so fun to watch
