Everyone worries about Aiptasia, my problem is mushroom corals. I purchased a pretty little rock with two or three, now they've covered all of my exposed live rock and are encroaching on my corals. Peppermint shrimp do a great job on Aiptasia, but is there anything out there to help get rid of all these excess mushrooms? 75Gal with Montipora, Euphillia, Stylophora, Seriatopora, Galaxea, and way too many mushrooms

here is the same thing, but in a one gallon vase at ten yrs old with about 200 red mushrooms. I tried everything under the sun, the one thing that worked is take the rocks out, cut them off from up under, done in two hours. six years of infestation cleared in a couple hours with a disassembly cleaning. this fixes aiptasia too, and no other way is better.

what solved my red mushroom issue was a kitchen knife, phillips screwdriver and a tap hammer.
