Hi, friends. My 37 gallon with sump and has been setup and stable for 7 years. Over the past 6 month, though, I’ve lost every soft coral in the tank, all of which I’d grown since frags to beautiful specimens. Nothing fancy, but even “weeds” like Xenia and Cespitalaria, which I used to cull, all died. My Gorgonia and Green Toadstool Leather held on the longest. The Leather isn’t quite gone, but hasn’t opened in a couple months. The tank is filled with live rock and a good cleanup crew and just a couple small damsels.
Here are my parameters:
Ph 7.8-8.0
Temp 78-80
Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 0
Phosphorus 0- .25
Calcium 600
Alkalinity 2.5 Meq/L or 7.0 dKH
Magnesium 1200
Flow is good. Lighting is from Reefbreeders.
Any advice is appreciated!
