Too much flow for pods to live?

I’ve not had great success with pods in my tank, it’s almost two years old now. I’ve added little one shots here or there but they’ve never taken off. So I decided to get a massive amount and kickstart my population.

My tank is 4x2x2, I turned off my returns and wavemakers and added the pods. The tank was teeming! All over the glass rocks, the water was so dense with pods I really thought “maybe I bought too many”.

After an hour I turned on my wavemakers and return.. now I can’t see a single pod! Obviously I know they’re tiny but I’m starting to wonder if I have too much flow for them to live in the DT, is that possible?

For reference I’ve got a RS 425 with 2x Gyre 330’s on opposing ends. Set on an random flow with a peak of 80% power.

They will be hidng or they get eaten, check at lights out for them.

They are fine. They like to hide, especially when lights are on.

I used to have so many, I'd see them in the water column WITH the lights on. The water flow isn't gonna bother them.
