Hey all,

I’ve got a small ricordea garden going on at the moment, and my pink one to the right of the picture seems to be pushed around by the flow like in the first picture, then a while later looks like it does now in the second picture, almost pouting?

I’ve also got the large ric behind it, with half a foot attached. Any idea on how to get it to attach to the rest of the rock, or even half on one rock half on another?

Flow is done by a Nero 3 around 55%, on pulse and random, and have a sicce 0.5 return on a Waterbox 20.

Thank you all!

Mushrooms can and will detach if it doesn't like where it is.
They don't like high flow or par.
You can elastic band it back on the rock. After a few days if should be attached and take the band off.

Might try shelter him a little bit, or angle his Rock differently

Does the elastic band not cause it to split from the tightness?

If tight, yes. When I kept shrooms, I would have it loose, just enough to hold it.
You can use the plastic mesh also if you have some. Some just put it in a bowl for protection. I also have pierced it with a tooth pick and elastic band down that way.

Might try get some mesh or something, or a loose band. Should do the trick. Thanks mate, will give that a shot and put it in a super low flow area for a week
