I recently moved my corals from a 32 gallon with a modest return pump and a wave maker to a JBJ RF-65 AIO tank. It has two return pumps and no matter how I redirect the nozzles the turbulence is very strong. The wave maker is off. I already have a good amount of live rock and a lot of my corals are only opening half way due to the strong flow (hammers, torches, bubble corals).

What are some safe ways to reduce flow on the return pumps without straining them?

hi,can try pointing them at eachother create random movement?

That’s a great idea, I imagine it’ll create more turbulent flow on the spot and disperse quickly. I currently have them pointed opposite of each other so I’ll try this when I get home
