I’ve got a maxspect gyre and was thinking about putting it in this tank but I’m a bit concerned about too much current hitting this hammer colony and I don’t have a lot of room to run it vertical so I was looking for some input. Thanks

It depends on what type of Gyre (size) - and what settings you use. For example - at 10 percent - one of the smaller ones MIGHT be ok. especially if you set it to intermittent flow. If its one of the bigger ones - my guess is that you will think its too much flow. It is hard to tell - though - how big exactly is the tank. Since you have it - put it in and try it at the lowest setting - with the highest time between 'pulses' - and see?

Thank you for the reply I put it in the tank and I’m playing with it now tank is a 75 gal on the upper setting it seems way to much flow and when lowered it doesn’t seem to be coming back to the side it’s on guessing I’ll just keep messin with it it’s not a big gyre I think it’s 2500 gph, I was just trying to lose the power heads 1vs 4
