So I have been having an awful problem with cyano in my 10 gal nano. All that's in it is 14 lbs of rock, 15 lbs of sand, a fancy ocellaris, a blue with yellow tail damsel, hermit, snail, and 2 small things of zoanthids. I added a power head (koralia 240) seemed to help a little but not perfect so I just added a koralia 425. I have the 425 in front top left facing downward slightly and the 240 back top right facing downward slightly. Is this too much flow? Also is having the water circle the tank like that okay?

As for flow that depends on the direction you want in your tank. Sounds like your new to this but flow is for comfort and bacteria decide what direction you want to take your nano. I like 1200gph

As long as your substrate is staying in place, your good to go.
