So - I have 2 clowns in my new 180. I have 2 overflows in the back of the tank. The clowns have mostly heeen hanging by the overflows and not out and about. I have a lot more open space than they are used to. I also have a gyre on one side, running a pulse between 10, 20 or 30%. And an MP40 on the other running at about 30 %. The MP40 is a little closer to the surface to help with surface agitation.

Is this too much flow or are they still adjusting?

I think they are still adjusting. That sounds very much like clown behavior to me :)

Yep, mine stayed in the back corner for a few days to a week before they started exploring. I still haven't seen the male on the right side of the tank at all lol!

Ok! Thank you! Makes me less worried. They had started exploring quite a bit in my 120 after a year. I just don’t remember them hiding quite so much. Sometimes they are on the same side, and sometimes they split up. Lol.
