Too much flow?

I have a 45g JBJ with a siccee 3.0 and a mp10. I’ve noticed that in the front of my tank, the sand is eroding around one of my corals I have placed in the sand and one of my pieces of live rock that I have as an island. Is it too much flow or just needing to reposition?

If you pump is going full blast, you have a 30 times turnover rate. Depending on your setting, I doubt that you have that level of flow.

I run a higher flow. I had issues with sand blowing around in some parts of the tank. I just got some coarser sand and added it to those places and it solved the problem.

I believe I have the Siccee at the max setting. I’m thinking more so of adding some random flow nozzles to it.
