Too much flow

So i have a tank that comes out to 139.4 gallons i put a sun sun dual powerhead on onside its got like 1600 gph rating is that too much flow its blowing my rbta around but do they like kinda high flow

Doesn't seem like enough flow for that size tank, but like coping said, it depends on what you want to keep. BTAs do like some flow, but they'll move if it's too much or too little. If he's uncomfortable let him move to where he likes it best.
 
Depends what you want to keep in there, I have 1800gph flow in a 30g
Softies lps and one rbta separated from everything if it doesnt want to stay where i put it which it has thus far for the past 3 months ive had it but i have 2 other tanks that i can put it in
 
There corals will tell you. If they are whipping around and look unhappy better dial it down.

Have a 1200 gph return and a 1600 gph powerhead and a small powerhead in the sump
 
I just bought a new return hygger 1350 gph i think i will install when this one i have goes out currently i have an iwaki return on the tank
 
I would point out that there are different types of flow. Made by different types of power heads. One Power head that has a wider flow of say 2,000 gph will blow things around less then 1,500 gph of a power head that has very focused flow. The type of power head you have is very focused flow.
