Hi all, simple and yet complex question here - is this too much flow in my tank? I just got a small wavemaker so I could adjust and get some random flow working in the tank, and this is pretty much the lowest random setting. It's an evo 13.5 gallon, so you can imagine the space can really get churning with too much flow easily, so I'm hoping I've reached a happy medium.
I've adjusted the output from the filter to intersect and cut the flow further, and to hopefully fill the empty corners. It's somewhat off center because I know the left side will end up with taller corals that won't like getting super blown around, aka the hammers that I've placed for testing purposes. The right side has some stronger flow, so the gorgonian will probably be happy there, and as it's on its own piece of rubble rock, I can move it around as needed. I'm not going to be putting high flow corals in here otherwise, all softies and LPS.
Everything is kind of ticked off and a bit cloudy because I've been messing with it, but I just want to make sure that the hammers aren't being blown around too much. Any hammer people who'd love to give advice, I'd very much welcome it. Thanks!
