I added a pretty thick glass top on my tank. And I’ve been tryna diagnose the problem. But when I saw the zoas lookin like that I thought to myself maybe someone could give some insight and help me figure out what it is. I’ve raised the lights 2 percent since I added the top. It’s almost as thick as my aquarium glass. They are stretching a bit - so you could probably increase the light by 5-10% to see if it makes any difference (zoas can take weeks to recede so you'll need to be patient after making a change).
Do you know of any way you can determine if the glass is that type or not. I’m pretty sure it’s whatever they use to make like those OG Euro braces aquariums. The zoas in the front are growing out of control. If evaporation isn’t a grave concern perhaps consider a screen top instead? I’ve always avoided glass as I understand certain types can filter out beneficial wavelengths.
