Too much light to the Space Monster?

This is what happen when I blaster the space monster with light.. Does anyone else have their look like this?? The polyp that is on the side look like the picture that everyone has been posting with the speckle...

Interesting, you sure those are SM? Can't say I've seen any shots of them looking like that before, but it is possible I guess. Did you light acclimate before blasting them with light. I know somebody in colorado had theirs within 6" of the top of the tank under 400wMH, and they didn't look like that.
 
+1 on the sureity of those being SM's! They look similar but missing the sparkles............
 
yeah, the side polyp that dont get alot of light is showing the sparkles.. I did light acclimate it before having it up 6" below the water level and 10" below my LED..
 
My SpaceMonsters love being on the substrate with medium to high flow. Nice photo bro. It is also nice to know that if I did move them up higher that the speckles will be gone. Hmmmm I might just do that...

Hmm interesting experiment, If the one on the side is normal then I would have to say they are in too much light, try moving them down a bit. Or frag them up an dstick them all over your tank, see where they get the best coloration.
