Too much light?

Would 2 360 kessils be waaay to much light over a nuvo 25 lagoon?
It really depends what your tank is going to be setup for. For LPS maybe a bit overkill but not for most SPS. A Par meter reading is by far the most definitive way of finding out how much your lighting puts out. Your tank being on the shorter side, it just might be. Also try to go for more coverage which I think you're doing. Maybe one 360 and T5 would be a better solution.

I think it would work well for SPS. That being said, because of tank size and shape, I am not convinced that would get you even coverage to the corners. I think a longer T5 Fixture or 4 Kessil 160we might get you better coverage.

The 360 fixture will be great, you will just need to plan your placement of coral accordingly to your hot spots.

I think you can go with 2 160s, you'd want to mount them high tho for a good spread. That tank is shallow so i think you'd be fine with those. You'll probably be running them at almost 100% tho. With the money saved, hey a seneye for the par meter so you can fine tune them.
