I am currently using a Philzon 165w Full Spectrum Light on a 13.5 Gallon Fluval All in One.

I currently have it sitting directly on the glass lid running for about 8 hours a day.

The tank is still young so it's going through its diatom stage but the glass is very green, so I am also thinking it may be algae as well (I may be wrong).
I have attached the link for the light for more detail.

Do you think it's too much light? Should it be lifted, by how many inches?
The tank will have simple coral, nothing too advanced or needing specific needs.

Any input will be appreciated, thank you!

I guess the site won't allow the link, but its from Amazon, it's a
