Below is a picture of my fuge.

My fuge area is 16 X 18 X 12" deep consisting of live rock and macro only.. The macro has really taken off in the past 2 months and my water quality has been great.

My question is since the macro is basically an export mechanism for the nitrates/phos, should I be removing some on a regular bases to allow for newer growth..

I always went with "if it's not broke, don't fix it" but my fuge is really

loaded with macro right now.

Thanks in advance

Thanks everyone for you reply's.. I thought cutting back might be the right move but didn't want to upset what appears to be a perfect balance.

Also great idea about shaking loose some pods. I don't have a large pod population so I might just throw them back in the fuge area to continue populating.

Oh yea forgot to ask, is there a particular food that pods like??
