Too much of a good thing?

Apparently I have pods. Like LOTS of pods. They cover the glass and my fish love picking them off as a snack.
All the specks in the picture are pods. Oh, the canister filter is just in there for the day to polish the water. Lots of floating particles, many of which I assume may be pods.
I can only assume that this is a sign of a healthy tank.
