I am wondering what are some differences of signs to watch out for between too much light vs too little light? What are some signs coral is getting too much light, and what are signs of recieving inadaquate light? Thanks!

Too much light = coral bleaching.
Too little light = zoas stretching up, some LPS corals too inflated showing skeleton inside of the coral, dull colors, laminar growth on SPS, dead spots under the colonies, slower than normal growth on species that normally grow fast, etc.
Most of the signs are also related to the chemistry/light relationship. Everything in the system needs a balance and light basically needs to be aligned with water chemistry, and temperature. The qualities of light we choose and delivery are the most important aspects we need to address.
