4 day old tank, bleached dry rock with one dry Tonga branch and dry life rock? Arch. Just looked in and see small red colonies throughout on my dry rock. Resembles cyano, but seems too early?
I am dosing Dr Tim’s ammonia which is reading 1ppm and using aquavitro seed as directed.
I am having some temperature issues (Eheim heaters acting funny), the tank is sitting at 82’F and 1.025 salinity.

New Live Rock can get some coloration on them pretty quick. If you try and scrape them off and they don't, I'd say its just the rock itself, especially in a 4 day old tank

Thank you! I hadn’t heard of that, the main causes of color change I knew of were coralline (way too early) and bacterial blooms. I just wanted to make sure I didn’t have a problem on my hands!
