Im very excited as I know this can take a long time. The male clown has not hosted and she's acting very aggressive and territorial since the bta was placed in the tank. I've seen other threads where this has happened. Any advice, as they've lived together for a couple of years now.

I tried to get a better pic, but she keeps darting under it when I come near the tank.

I am pretty jealous. I added a RBTA to my tank Thursday night and it then proceeded to walk it's self to the back of the tunnel in my aquascape. I can only really see it from a few angles. Oh and it goes without saying my clown couldn't care less it is there. lol... Maybe it will realize it is in the shade and move again in a few days.

I know I'm in the minority, but I've been super lucky thus far. I placed the rbta and it just stuck. I guess I picked a good spot and It even started to bubble almost immediately. I sat there watching for an hour thinking to myself, "this is dumb. It can take months for this to happen" but then as soon as the lights went out, my clown went in.

Haha yeah, I got a nice sparkly acid green bta and after its first evening it disappeared for almost 2 weeks. I found it on the rocks in the back right corner. It’s still hanging out there now.
