Hello couple nights ago I was creeping on my tank with my phone light after lights went out and I found this guy zoom around the rocks. Long story short took me a couple nights to locate and catch him and am very curious what it is and if he is harmful or not? Tried to get some good pictures of him.

Even if it was a Mantis shrimp, I would not consider it (immediately) a problem.

Lol cant believe you tracked it down. Must not be a very big tank!
Hahaha yeah when you’re a beginner in the hobby everything tends to freak you out. It’s just a 36 gallon bow front style tank.
