Took the plunge. Redsea Reefer 350

So I took the plunge today ordered it from Saltwater Aquarium since it was in stock there. I never had like a full setup before or any higher end tank. Always been off the shelf 40B or some sort.
So I just set up my 40B about 2months ago and figure might as well upgrade now while all I have it in is 2 pair of clownfish don't need to worry about coral on rocks yet.
Excited for it to show up. Hopefully in one piece

Congratulations! I upgraded to a Red Sea Reefer last summer. Pictures don’t do them justice - they’re gorgeous tanks. You’ll love it.

I'm sure it will, mine was packed extremely well. Although I get it, I was nervous too have a tank shipped that it would show up cracked.

Make sure you make the truck driver wait till you are comfortable with the delivery. He can wait a few for you but once they leave it’s gonna get a lot harder to get a replacement. Get a box cutter ready and go through it all. Don’t worry about the driver it’s your tank! Congratulations btw I love my reefer

Do you guys tip these drivers? never had anything like this delivered before

almost done with the stand. Gotta wait till later when my buddy comes over to put the tank on it.
I was surprised by how heavy the sump was. feels like a tank

It has been installed. Tank wasn’t as heavy as I was expecting it to be. Now to transfer my 40B setup to it.

Still little cloudy from the sand and doing aquascape today. But it’s all transferred over. Not super I love with the scape but it’s not bad

I bet your fish will love those caves and arches. Lots of hiding places. It does look a bit man-made because of the symmetry.

setting up this tank made me remember how bad I hate aqua scaping wet. It's so much easier when starting dry with dry rock
