So the two Harlequen Shrimp a half hour to find the chocolate chip starfish I dropped in my 75 reef tank. I have to admit that I feel bad about putting that starfish in to be eaten alive over the next few weeks. The shrimp look like a couple of evil aliens devouring their prey. 12 bucks is a little high for a chocolate chip starfish but shrimp have to eat. Here is a pick of them with th star turned upside down.

You could just buy like 4 and keep chopping legs off since they grow back :)

Starfish legs don't grow back fast enough. I bought a bunch and froze them. I cut off some each week and feed mine. I also put a couple live one's in my sump to mix it up a little.

Stars are mostly invasive bastiges, I wouldn't give it a second thought.

True. I should be able to justify it somehow.
What amount of starfish does everyone feed theirs? Also please specify if you have one other two Harlequen's.

You should try and cultivate asterinia stars somehow. They can be pests.

I had a tank full of asterinas. The 2 shrimp devoured them in about 3 weeks.
