Hello fellow reefers. I recently chimed in on a thread discussing a bamboo shark. Part of the discussion centered around whether or not the tank size was sufficient.
I made reference to an article by Jay Hemdal that I found to be very enlightening. Well, I was playing with Excel as I am prone to do and produced a tool based on "standard tank size" and the ratios suggested in the article. Since open water swimmers, especially Tangs, generate a lot of discussion, I included more examples in that section. Enjoy
