I’m trying to calculate the height and width of a toothless weir for an AIO tank, including the height from the top of the aquarium.

The tank is a shallow aquarium; 60cm x 36cm x 20cm
With a Sicce 950 LPH pump.

Does anyone have any advice or pointers? I’m assuming the longer I make the weir the less head of water will flow over the top. If I made the weir 6cm long, 3cm deep into the AIO.

You can search for a 'rectangular weir calculator' (http://irrigation.wsu.edu/Content/Calculators/Water-Measurements/Rectangular-Contracted-Weir.php) which will allow you to play around with the numbers.

Based on your example, a 12cm long weir (6cm front + 2x 3cm sides) with 1cm of water over the weir is equal to 0.2 liters per second or 720 liters per hour. That is probably pretty close to the maximum you'd get out of the Sicce (Syncra 1.0?) depending on your exact plumbing and system setup. That pump only has a max head height of about 1.2 meters and the flow rate drops off rapidly.
