I would have to say the Pearlberry is the most beautiful in my tank...very nice color. I think it is a coral that could be Tyree for 120 a frag and it would still sell like mad

My personal favorite

Nice Tort. I have that but it's the slowest grower in my tank. Is that the way it does for others? It encrusted like gang-busters, but just hasn't taken off since.

I like subtle colorations that come out when the coral is perfect health, the little yellow, blue, green highlight tips that go often ignored. I like colors or combinations that are so vibrant, they seem fake.

Without naming species, I like any piece that has been grown out, not fragged to death or broken and mangled that is full and balanced, that show an example of the species unmolested or hacked.

I agree!

With all the crazy high end pieces out now some 5 years later, the pieces listed in this thread are still IMO some of the nicest pieces out there still. But to throw a couple names out there I would go with:

SC Candies Acro
Orange passion (RR or SC piece, both are awesome)
JFox Flame
RR Wolverine
RR Pink Floyd
RMF Gila Monster

Just to name a few. Anyone else want to add to the list?

Bali Green Slimer
Oregon Tort
Tyree Pink Lemonade
REd Planet
Bonsai
Pearlberry
Red Dragon

only listed ones I currently or have owned

Where's the love for the Tyree Rogue Milli. By far my favorite piece, too bad mine is just an encrusted nub.

That's another fantastic piece. It tough to list these things haha

out of what I have I like oregon tort out of the blues. Red dragon for structure. garf bonsai for growth habit, and purple plasma for everything!

Garf Bonsai and ORA Blue Vodoo acropora. BTW... I don't want to throw anyone under the bus, but has anyone else received completely bare or acros in RTN state from any of the sales on here over the last month? I'm not naming names because I think they will make it right, but 8 out of 9 acros that I bought were either completely bare or almost bare when they arrived. I'm out of a chunk of change and all I have to show for it is several dead, white pieces. Please let me know if this happened to anyone else .

Acros can be tough to ship, the few occasions I've received DOA corals the vendor has made things right. Just need to be sure to read their DOA guarantee before ordering. Hope they do right by you.
