Ok guys, again I always see everyone's top 2 or 3, I am curious to see who is almost always in the top ten.

Let's focus on appearance rather than practicality, etc. large, dwarf, and Pygmy welcome.

Here's mine:
1) Emperor adult (own 1)
2) Queen (1)
3) Yellow belly Regal (2)
4) Blue face (1)
5) Potters (1)
6) Flame (3)
7) Passer/King (1)
8) Flameback Pygmy (1)
9) Annularis
10) Scribbled
11) Rock beauty (1)
12) Majestic
13) Bellus
14) Wantabei (sp?)
15) French

Was really hard to rank, all of those angels are really gorgeous and cool in their own right!

Angels that cost a small fortune I didn't include but there are some very gorgeous conspicuous Angels and the like that would probably be on that list.

What about you guys?
Pics welcome!

No love for Angels!? Come on guys, let's see a list!

I couldn't possibly list 15 angels without looking them all up first, but I'll tell you the ones I remember and that I really wish I could have.

1. GoldFlake
2. Flame
3. Lemon Peel
4. Scribbled
5. French
6. Coral Beauty

I'm too lazy to type in all 15 but I will tell you that my favorite is the Queen.

I do like my Queen. I always say I rank the emperor higher but if I don't have a queen, I am not happy.

My list strictly on appearance:
1. Blue face- hands down the most amazing looking
2. Regal
3. Queen
4. Potter's
5. Female bellus
6. Male Japanes swallowtail
7. Cortez
8. Emperor
9. Hawaiian masked male
10. Flame
11. Peppermint
12. Watanabe male and female- their shimmer blue is underrated
13. French
14. African flameback
15. Lenonpeel

Lots of the same answers as on my list! Cortez and lemon peel dont do it for me. Not sure I know what a peppermint is!

Peppermint are super cool . Super rare in captivity . High dollar!!
Deep water . Roratonga endemic. Hawaii public aquarium has one . They are red and white like candy cane . 14,000 dollars?
Someday someone will breed????
Then maybe they will be almost affordable?
I

Need to think on list. All dwarfs are cool.
I have in one tank
Flame, Bandit , Black Velvet
Second tank:
Multicolor and Majestic
I like a lot of common ones
Queen is a chart topper Bicolor , Passer

Maybe not 15, but my faves are...
- Scribbled
- Peppermint
- Blue Ring (just because of the copper/blue colors)
- Queen
There are some really cool Dwarf Angels out of Vanuatu
and I love the Flameback and Cherub Pygmys.

1. Bandit
2. Blue Face
3. Emperor
4. Clarion
5. Regal
6. Multibar
7. Potters
8. Goldflake
9. Blueline
10. Flame
11. Golden
12. Queen
13. Multicolor
14. Annularis
15. Orange peel (lemon peel variant)

I saw some one put Golden. Really pretty , but mine in past are super cryptic.

I have a lot of people that view my tank for the first time that know nothing about hobby . Always smile when they get estatic over the Blue Chromis.

I had never heard of the orange peel angel. Pretty cool, had to look it up!

I love my Red Sea regal. Now that she eats voraciously, her colors are becoming even more vibrant

I'm surprised no one put Asfur yet. They are pretty.
They're ok. It has a tough time competing with the plethora of more intimately and beautifully colored and patterned Angels out there! Tough crowd to compete in!

This is one neglected thread (compared to the tang and wrasse thread).

No love for our angels? Is it because we eat coral?

My Golden started off extremely skittish for the first couple of weeks. He/she is finally becoming comfortable and spends most of the time out in the open picking at the live rock (and coral unfortunately).

This is the sole reason I don't keep them.

If I were ever allowed another tank things might be different.
