Myka, I think all of your last 3 belong! H. chrysus is so unappreciated because of it's availability and low cost but it's almost an ideal reef tank inhabitant. Low keyed, relaxed, hardy, eats pests, and so brightly colored (especially older males). Sometimes I think we get caught up in rare or difficult to find fish.

Agreed! I have had one in my reefs for the last 6 or 8 years. Once I got that first one, I won't be without. They are good little coral janitors, and well-behaved for the most part.

I second the need for pictures. I only have three wrasses. Carpenter, Yellow-fin flasher and the Sail-fin Fairy. I had a really beautiful Harlequin Tusk.

I forgot my Laboutei. This wrasse is a changing small wrasse from female to male. He is small, fast and in my 320. Hard to get a good picture of him and he is much better in person than in picture. So no good picture.
I added a Lubbock but he disappeared in the rock work in my 40 gal reef (QT reef) I got him from Petco. Since he have not come out for 3 days, I assumed that he died.
He was thin but was eating at Petco before I bough him. The other two wrasse in my QT are the two flasher wrasse and should not have bother him. He just dived into the rock work and have not been seen since. My QT is full of Macro algae and pods, hope he reappear soon but not holding much hope.

Just got a few of my top wrasse.

These guys I always wanted and finally got them. They had a flashing contest today man did I enjoy it. Made a little vid of the ones I have left.
