Top 20 "Oh Yea" moments

I am now 1.5 years in saltwater and as all know the more you the learn more you realize how many things make complete sense once you hear them. But wouldn't have thought about it before hand. Many of these may sound like common sense.

I want to compile a list of those "Oh Yea" moments we have all had.

Here is mine to start it off.

1. When measuring water ( for test kits) in a cylindrical tube you want to measure by the bottom of the bubble NOT the top.

2. Buy a refractometer, they work and there is a good one for $40
3. Build a stand 30" or taller, believe me, it pays off.
